Consumers Turn Away from the Yellow Pages
Back in the day, when people were looking for a business, they would look for the phone book and thumb through the Yellow pages. In smaller communities, that still may be effective today. However, in larger areas, most people will do a quick search on the internet before heading out the door to shop. As a business owner, you want your business website to be the first site that comes up.
90% of search engine traffic will click on one of the first three spots. An average of 70 to 80% of search engine visitors will click on the first spot. Most people never reach the second page of search results. So it would benefit you greately to invest the time, money and effort to ensure that your business website is found first.
There are three ways to do it.
The first is CPC. Your three line ad is placed on the web at a price. You get charged per click. Can be effective but can also get expensive. The more competition, the higher your expense goes.
The second method is through Google Places. You can create a business profile and be found across the board in Google Maps.
The third is the natural search results. This is the highest quality traffic on the web and will bring your business the best results.
We specialize in local search engine optimization and have been able to achieve results quickly for our clients. For example, one of our Arizona based clients offers interior plants in Scottsdale and was being found in the number one spot for certain phrases within three weeks. Another client, also based in Arizona, is a Mesa roofing company and was found for competitive phrases in just under two months.
Dominate your online presence and you'll reap the rewards from it.
