What if there’s no Internet?

Posted on October 04, 2011 09:55 PM

I’m pretty sure, after reading the title you have a lot of questions going inside your head right now — What would happen if we’re running out of internet? Can we do surfing stuffs? Can we possibly update our status infacebook or tweet some info? How about searching inGoogle,   Yahoo,  Bing(MSN)? Or send some emails, poke some friends, watch videos on youtube or play online games? And the questions go on.

We really can’t imagine what the world could it be if we don’t have internet. Some people says they can’t live without internet, and we sometimes agree with this. We treat internet as part of our lives, and yes its true. Study shows, as of March 31, 2011 there are 360,985,492internet users in the world (according to http://www.internetworldstats.com/stats.htm). Asia is the top internet user followed by Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa, Middle East and Oceania/Australia.

We cannot stop the internet domination on Earth because as the time goes by more and more people are using internet. But what if one day all the internet connections around the world  were being cut, could we possibly do things that we’ve usually do before? It’s hard, right? We must always remember few things, thou shall not let internet take our lives. Just learn how to deal with it because when you get hooked for sure you will getaddicted.

Internet is useful. We can take a lot of information on it. It’s like a library with books compiled from around the world. By just one click, you can get the information or go anywhere you want. Let must be thankful to the father of internet, Vinton Cerf (for more info about him, you can visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vint_Cerf), because without him the world we’re living today would like before it’s HARD.
