Notes from Southern Hemisphere

Bellavista means Beautiful View in English. The streets are very colorful and fanciful architecture. This barrio is known as the Bohemian and Cultural Arts District of Santiago. No wonder that Pablo Neruda, Chile’s famous Noble-laureate poet, decided to build his home in the capital in the 1950s. Bellavista is not only famous for it's daytime cuteness but also at nighttime, the area has numerous bars, cafés and restaurants with crowds every night as the barrio reaches fever pitch.
