This screen works wonders in deterring others from taking glances at my private information. In fact most people think Im crazy typing away on a computer with a blank screen or so they think.There are some disadvantages with this screen though. Your seatmate directly next to you will be able to see through the filter to your screen partially because they are within the viewing angle of the screen with the filter on. But move over any farther and the screen is not visible nor is it visible across the aisle (if sitting in an aisle seat). About the only other place that it is visible is if someone is standing directly above you one row back. Turning down the brightness of your screen also helps immensely in blocking people from viewing your screen through the filter at any angle.(Please note having this filter installed screens out about half of the light coming out of the screen. If you have poor eyesight with dim lighting and have trouble with computer screens this product may not be for you.)Additionally the clear plastic tabs included with the filter adheres to the plastic border around the notebook LCD screen to keep the filter in place. It works but blocks about a 1/8" of the screen at 6 points especially noticeable around the bottom of the screen where the start bar is located.Youll also notice a large "3M PF14.1W" printed in the top right hand corner of the filter. Its used to help in determining whether the filter is facing the right direction but its quite distracting at times. The height of the lettering is equivalent in size to the window bar at the top of any program.This filter is also very dust lint debris and smudge attracting. Youll find yourself wiping the filter often.Overall this filter does its job. Great for those who need to comply with HIPPA or other privacy regulations. But as an individual consumer I wonder if the high price is justified for the benefits it provides.

Fully Manual Espresso Machines

Manual espresso machines work via a handle that you need to pump in order to push the hot water through the coffee grind. Other machines apply steam pressure but with a manual machine you have full control over the speed and pressure at which the coffee is made.

They are still very popular in Italy and are used widely in cafes around the country as it is seen as the authentic way to make an espresso.

The Good:

• Full control over the brewing process
• Can produce the best tasting espresso
• Pump pressure wont burn the coffee like steam pressure might
• You can feel pride in your pure coffee making skills when you make a good one

The Bad:

• Very easy to mess up as everything has to be perfect, from the grind to the pull
• Not the quickest method of making an espresso

Manual espresso machines still have a place in many peoples hearts. The purist coffee maker will enjoy the art and science that goes into pulling the perfect espresso, so this is recommended for people who enjoy the whole process of making and drinking a coffee.

Single-Serve Pod & Capsule Espresso Machines

Single-serve machines like this are incredibly quick and easy to use and dont take up much space. They are a reasonably modern invention and have been made fashionable by recent celebrity endorsements. They are more than just a fashion statement though as can be found when we look at the pros and cons here:

The Good:

• Very quick to make an espresso
• Extremely easy to use, just load the pod or capsule and then press a button
• Easy to keep clean and there is no mess made when making a cup
• They produce a very consistent espresso every time
• Very small and will fit on any kitchen worktop

The Bad:

• Variety of coffee may be limited as you will have to buy the same brand as your coffee machine
• Capsules and pods will not be as fresh as freshly ground coffee beans
• Takes the art out of making coffee
• Pods and capsules work out slightly more expensive per cup than coffee beans
• Not all models include a steam wand

But suddenly one shorted out on me after only several months use causing me to question the "Monster mystique." No question its a well-made trustworthy (but not indestructible or infallible) cable but Im no longer committed to it at any price. However at Amazons current "value" price for this particular Monster cable its a no-brainer. Moreover I no longer have hesitations about purchasing a cable that doesnt say "piano" or "keyboard" on it. (One of my Monster keyboard cables even came with one end designated for the amp and the other for the instrument--but it was hard to see which was which in a dimly lit club.)As for length 6 feet is ideal if youre playing through your own amp (my preference). Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 - Poppy Red (Personal Computers) Wow! I had a 3 year old Microsoft mouse that worked great but the USB transceiver was a real pain mainly becauseof the length of the thing. I broke one of my USB ports when I accidentally banged into the thing one day and ona laptop one can ill afford to lose a USB connector right?Anyway the transceiver on this unit is tiny it only sticks out maybe a 1/4 of an inch so theres no probabilityof you damaging your machine by accident. And it is extremely responsive even more than the older design. Thedrivers loaded automatically in Windows 7 and Im back in bidness. Both left and right buttons work as they shouldand the "click" scroll is perfect. Battery life is extended too with an On/Off switch. Works practically on anysurface the laptop frame the couch your jeans! The transceiver does snap into the body of the mouse for traveland the only minor complaint I have is that the mouse doesnt turn itself off when the transceiver is nested youstill have to manually flip the switch to Off. No big deal. And what the heck is Bluetrack? Basically its a broaderoptical beam than either laser or optical works on more surfaces (but not glass) and there is ZERO lag meaningits just as responsive if not more so than laser. In surveying other reviews Ive found the 4000/5000/6000models all appear to have a problem with the USB transceiver. I dont know if Microsoft has fixed that problem onthose other designs but you wont find that complaint for the 3500.Update 7/12/2011: This mouse still works perfectly and is just as responsive as it was on Day 1. It doesnt "squeak"the mouse clicks are barely audible but you may find that the rubber casing begins to peel away from the plastic body over time this is easily remedied with a drop or two of Superglue. This doesnt affect comfort or performance of the mouse. And
