It has much better ties to hold it in place than the one I spent double on 2 years ago. These are my favorite at 10% of the cost of electronic muffs.I bought them for trap/skeet. My Browning has an adjustable comb but these do NOT interfere with mounting the shotgun or getting a proper cheek weld as do the large electronic muffs.They are VERY comfortable, in fact too comfortable, you will forget to take them off. I forgot to put them on one time and shot a double on the skeet range. It is a testiment to their effectiveness as my ears rang for three days afterwards.I highly recommend these to you. They are inexpensive but are EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE and WORK VERY WELL. What more could you ask?

Hydrofarm LKIT60 Dayspot 60-Watt (Lawn & Patio) This little light is easy to assemble, needing not much more than a screw driver to tighten the nut and screw. Once it is clamped down on another sturdy object, it stays put. It doesn't wobble or come undone. The cord is five feet long. Depending on how far away this lamp is from the plant, the effective radius is plenty enough (about 24" from a foot away). I use this over a germination set next to my bird cage, and my little dove gets some of that light as well.One thing about this that may be dangerous to other users: the black hood that goes around the socket gets VERY HOT! This lamp would not be recommended around birds or small children. However, set in a nice location this is a pretty lamp that provides good swivvel and warmth.This clamp comes with a 60-watt bulb, packed in its separate cardboard support.

It fits nicely as well, I just wish they would make it out something a little more durable. That being said, It's been a year and I'm buying a new one just before the rainy season hits.UPDATE: I received my newest cover and man, it appears the Gents over at Bradley Smokers have been listening and decided to bump up the quality of this cover significantly. The new one I recieved is a heavy nylon? fabric that seems to be significantly more durable than the previous one. I'm guessing that while this one might fade over the next year, I highly doubt it will tear or corrode. It's a rather industrial cover now and I look forward to seeing just how long this one lasts. Safer Brand 51702 Diatomaceous Earth - Bed Bug, Ant and Crawling Insect Killer, 4-Pound Bag (Lawn & Patio) I discovered Diatomaceous Earth while looking for a way to get roaches out of my apartment. My daughter was 13 months old at the time and I was concerned about using strong poisons around her.My results were very good. As another reviewer mentions, the powder is very fine and blows around easily. I used a duster and placed the powder along floor boards, in cabinets under sinks, and under furniture and appliances. Within 24 hours I was seeing dead roaches coated in white powder.This product does not work like a poison, so the bugs won't instantly die on contact - it takes a little time (the powder scratches their outsides and causes them to dehydrate and die). But, also unlike poisons, this product never loses potency. So, as long as the powder is there, it will keep killing bugs who come in contact.The research I did showed that Diatomaceous Earth was supposed to be pretty harmless to people other than as a mild irritant on skin or if inhaled. But, there where all kinds of warnings on the bag which made me nervous. I later discovered that any product sold for pest control, by law, has to contain a minimum set of warnings. The exposure warnings I did find were in OSHA documents and involved long term(5+ years) exposure in industrial settings.Use a mask and take care when applying the product to avoid creating a significant airborne cloud and you shouldn't have any problems using DE.It has been years since I first discovered this product, but I still keep a bag on hand at all times. However, there is one big problem with it. When it rains, water accumulates on the base - there is no drainage. We recently had a warm snap and when I lifted the barrel off the base several mosquitos flew out. I drilled a couple of holes into the base so water can escape. It seems like the manufacturer should have thought about this.

I know that's a disgusting thing to say but after spending hundreds and hundreds at the doctors and suffering for months, this was the ONLY thing that killed all the bugs and got everyone in our family bug free. We mixed it with Jergens Lotion and applied it daily. Strong smelling, but it worked like a charm.We had tried premethrin from the doctors, Neem oil (which helped but was never enough), tea tree oil (didn't help at all)Count less sprays, lotions ect. And while this is embarrassing to say, I'm posting this because Scabies is called the Seven year itch for a reason!! it's Extremely hard to get rid of and Im so glad I got this product. It cured our scabies for 12 dollars. It is truly a blessing. I hope that someone else who is searching for a cure, not a temporary fix will see this and try it out. (its also important to clean clean clean!!! plastic bed covers are essential, Washing of clothes daily! its a LOT of hell but once you get rid of it, you will be so happy, I know we are.

Rescue FTD-BB24 Disposable Fly Trap (Lawn & Patio) I bought this trap because I suddenly had a couple of dozzen rather smallish "houseflies" appear in my kitchen. The description clearly says For Use Outdoors, but if figured: Im an old guy; I live alone; my sense of smell isn't very good; how bad can it be?Be smarter than I was. Believe the instructions. You really don't want to live with one of these things hanging in your kitchen.But I did manage to leave it up for a couple of days. Turned out, the particular type of small fly that I had was not in the least attracted to it. Not a single one.Again, the product description on Amaszon was correct. The trap is said to be intended to catch the larger sort of fly that you might find around a barn. I re-hung the trap outside, where it quickly attracted and killed a good number of larger flies that I hadn't even noticed in the area.Meanwhile, I spent $0.99 for four coils of old-fashioned "fly-ribbon" of the sort your grandfather might have used. I didn't even know you could still buy the stuff. That got rid of my indoor flys in three or four days. I think mostly because they just blundered into it.One more cautionary comment: Use good workmanship when you cut the round opening necessary to activate the trap. Work slowly. Use a sharp knife. Cut exactly ON or INSIDE the dotted line--not outside. Don't make any gash extending outside the dotted circle.It isn't immediately obvious, but if you do a sloppy job of cutting the round opening, the trap will be useless. You'll see why when you fill the trap with water. It gets fairly heavy. If the hole you cut is defective, the trap will fall apart when you try to hang it. Mine didn't--but not because I foresaw the possibility.I'm rating the trap five stars because I think it worked fine when used as intended. I considered subtracting a star because there was no warning in the instructions about care of workmanship during setup. But didn't do so because I figured that had I done a poor job of following the "cut on the dotted line" instructions, it would have been my fault, not theirs.

GreenWorks 27012 8 AMP Corded AC Cultivator (Lawn & Patio) I suffer from "cheap" syndrome. I often buy the cheapest tool and end up throwing it away because it sucks, and buying a more expensive tool to replace it, which of course means I end up spending more money than if I had just bought a good tool to begin with. Knowing this flaw, I did not want to repeat my previous mistakes with a new tiller. I had never bought a tiller before, so I was learning from scratch. I'm a big fan of electric tools (especially with rising gas prices) so I had narrowed my choices down to three tillers. This one, a mantis, and a troy-bilt model. There are plenty of cheaper electric tillers out there, but I didn't even want to waste my time.After the 8000 accessories you need to buy for the mantis, I nixed that one. The troy tiller had some impressive looking tines (and reviews!) and I decided that was the one to buy. But they were sold out and I needed to get my garden put together right away! Despite only having 2 other reviews, I decided to give the Greenworks tiller a chance. The fact that it has zero carbon footprint is nice, but honestly, I care more about a machine meeting MY needs. I finally gave in and purchased this model after being swayed by the impressing 4 year warranty (the other machines have a 2 year warranty). The tines didn't look as "mean" as the troy or mantis, but I gave it a shot anyway. I'm not using it to farm, I'm just using it on a garden.Putting it together was easier than I expected. I also suffer from "doesn't read directions" syndrome so I put the tines on backwards at first, but a quick glance at the diagram showed me all I had to do was turn them around. My worries about the tines not looking mean enough were dismissed as soon as I held them. These things feel *really* solid and have some weight to them, similar to the feel of cast iron. All together from start to finish I had this thing put together in about 30 minutes (in my living room no less). The weight of the machine really isn't bad at all, and did I mention I'm a petite woman who is 6 months pregnant? If I can handle it, so can you.The next day I tried this thing out in the garden. All my long viney weeds had already been removed by hand, so all I needed to do was break up my soil. Although this garden is established, the soil just isn't very good. Polaris 360 or 380 Mega All Purpose Replacement Bag fits Polaris 360 or 380 I also thought this was a great deal, it is significantly cheaper than the Polaris brand bag. It actually works well for a... short... short period of time. There is a design flaw; the velcro quickly wears out and the bag does not stay shut. Let me be clear, the bag does not hold a SINGLE LEAF because the velcro will not stay shut. Also, even when the bag did stay shut, there is not a barrier to keep the debris from falling out of the bag (back through the mouth) when the pump is off. In other words, you have to remove the bag when the pump is running, otherwise the debris falls back out of the bag. In two months, I am looking for a replacement and will likely go with the original brand. I'm giving this 1 star because the bag is now useless.

I bought this to replace a Rubbermaid model that warped and would not stay together. Assembly of this product was relatively smooth. There is hardware included to hold the storage box together so it took a bit longer than my last box, maybe 20 minutes or so. The highlights of this unit are the hardware that I mentioned has kept the box sturdy and water tight. The shock hinges hold the lid open while you are getting your things and keep the lid from smashing little fingers. The deck box allows for a padlock to secure the storage. Lastly but most important, IT IS HUGE! I believe it is 130 gallons which I believe is one of the biggest out there.Bigger, stronger and safer makes this a great value for the price.

PondCare Algaefix Algae Control, 64-Ounce (Misc.) I purchased this product for a small pond that was very algae-ridden. It cleared the algae to some extent, but it returned before the next dose was due. When researching pond care, one is advised to change up to 1/3 of the water on a regular basis, yet this product warns against letting any of the treated water out (contain all outflow). It also is identified as a cause of cancer and you must avoid contact with skin and eyes (yet it's safe for fish?)As this wasn't solving my problem, and my fish all died, I purchased a UV light- mine is in a statue- you can also get them for placement in the water line or skimmer. Overnight my pond was crystal clear. I have to do nothing to control the algae- you can see to the bottom 4 ft down. This is a much better treatment for algae.

Assembly instructions were clear enough for me to follow and not make any mistakes. I do agree that it took a good chunk of time to put together, but for 80 dollars, what do you expect?I understand the low star rating for the customer(s) that did not receive all of the parts for their grill (my grill came with all noted parts). What I can't understand is people complaining about a grill this cheap that does what it is supposed to do. If you don't want to assemble a grill (or if you can't read instructions), don't buy the grill online. Did you expect it to be assembled and delivered to your back porch? There are plenty of stores that you can go to and buy a pre-assembled grill. If your expecting the highest quality grill for 80 dollars, then you have another problem altogether.This grill is perfect for my situation, as we live in a 2 bedroom condo on the second floor that only has a small patio/balcony. I was able to leave the left shelf off of the grill and it fits nice and flush against the corner wall. Although I have only grilled on it 3 times so far, it does a fairly good job and it is much better than using our old propane grill that sat on the floor. I would highly recommend this grill if you are looking for a smaller no frills grill that does its job well.

1500 Live Ladybugs - Good Bugs - Ladybugs - Guaranteed Live Delivery! This is the first year I've had trouble with aphids on my tomato plants. They were looking pretty sickly, at first I thought they just weren't great quality plants, or perhaps I planted them too early - we had a really wet spring. On closer inspection the leaves were covered with tiny little tomato-life-sucking aphids. I browsed around the web to find a solution and settled on these ladybugs, largely because the reviews for the 4500 qty were so good. I ordered them, it took about a week to get them (we had a holiday weekend and they came USPS) and in spite of the mail carrier sticking the poor guys in our enclosed mailbox on a hot summer day they were all (save 2 or 3) alive. They come in a mesh bag with straw and a cotton ball with presumably water, enclosed in a cardboard protective sheath. When we got them it was after 5pm and the little guys were going nuts in the bag so I decided to go ahead and release them. I could hardly get the bag open before they were streaming out. They come hungry too. I released them right onto my plants and it was amazing to see them encounter an aphid and immediately chomp it. It's like a private nature show. Totally happy.

There are two screw holes for mounting, which is adequate. They don't weight much - probably less than a pound.The bottom side is all plastic, but that's fine as it should not be exposed (much) to the elements. The only thing I fear durability-wise is that the heat of the Oklahoma sun will eventually turn the plastic brittle, but if they last for a couple of seasons I will feel I have my money's worth.After charging for one day in the sun, I mounted mine and they are working just as advertised. Mine are mounted about 8-9' off the ground and activate within a similar radius from the light. When the light senses that it is dark (dusk), it comes on in an 'energy saving' mode (low light) until activated. Then it lights up in its brightest mode, which gives good light for 10 feet or so. If there is no further motion detected, it goes back to 'low light' mode in 30 seconds. There is no adjustment for any of this, but it works pretty good for what I need it for (taking my dogs out in the yard at night) and I'm quite satisfied with my purchase. If it lasts for a year or more, I'll be a happy camper. I've already invested in two more - hope the price stays reasonable ($23 with Amazon Prime)EDIT: After owning 4 of these for a couple of summers, I did find that they kind of started to have a "mind of their own" as another reviewer mentioned. Of the 4, maybe one a night would decide not to activate. At first I thought it was just one and it was defective, but after a few days it started working again and another one went "on the blink", as it were. Since I had more than one and they were in the same general location (across the back side of my house), it wasn't a huge issue for me, but if you only had one and it began acting up you might be a little less sanguine about it - just so you know! I still can't gripe about the overall value and utility and am getting another half-dozen or so for my new home.
