Weber 386002 Q 100 Portable 189-Square-Inch 8500-BTU Liquid-Propane Gas Grill (Lawn & Patio) Ive been using a Q100 / Baby Q for over 2 years now and am still impressed by the quality of the product and what Im able to do with it given its small size. Heres the set up:Q100 GrillWeber CartBulk tank adapter5-lb. propane tankThe grill surface is large enough for a family of four. Six 1/3 lb. burgers fit well enough more and they are hard to turn. Ive also been able to do two average sized tri-tips at once. The lid isnt tall enough to allow a whole chicken. I was a bit wary of the 8K BTU rating at first but the grill heats up just fine- it will do a wonderful sear on pretty much anything after 7-10 minutes of preheat. The heat is also very even with the virtually whole grill surface usable. The best thing about the small burner is fuel efficiency 5 lbs. of propane lasts all season (in SoCal!) at 1-2 uses per week. Please note that this is a single burner grill with a ring-shaped burner. Indirect cooking isnt really possible although on low heat one can get close enough to do justice to a tri-tip.Ive only got a couple of small complaints... First the support ring for the portable tank (at least with the Baby Q) only accepted 14 oz. propane bottles- the kind used with plumbers torches. They are more expensive than the 16 oz. bottles used for camping. I just made my own 16 oz. bottle ring out of a heavy coat hanger. Of course with the bulk tank this is a non-issue. The 5 lb. tank (from Home Depot) is pretty small. Second the grill is somewhat sensitive to wind. A good breeze blowing through the sides causes a definite loss of temperature above the grill surface under the lid. Cooking is still possible but times go up about 30-40%. Last the holes in the burner can get clogged up especially when theres a lot of liquid pouring off the grill surface. Ive had to unclog parts of the burner with a push-pin a couple of times now.Anyway I love the product as its about 75% of a full-size grill at 1/3 the size and 1/4 the price within its limits (grill area). I think the only thing Id do differently is get the version with the side tables (Q120).

They were coming in under the garage door this summer to escape the heat and search for water. These traps were excellent for attracting and traping these roaches. In fact I was replacing them every couple of days because they were full of roaches and also spiders and other insects. Just be aware that traps of any kind are helpful in lowering a roach population but they will not eliminate them. Traps are also very useful in gauging how big of a problem you have. To rid yourself of the Oriental roach or other species of roaches you will need Advion Cockroach Gel Bait by Dupont. This is a relatively low toxcicity bait that will wipe out a roach infestation. It can be purchased from a number of DIY pest control websites and is the same stuff used by the professionals. Also very important in roach controlis the following list of things you need to do in addition to the bait mentioned above:***Dont let them in. Cockroaches may enter houses via sewer connections under doors around utility pipes air ducts or other openings in the foundation. They love cracks and can squeeze in just about anywhere. Young roaches can fit into a space as thin as a dime. An adult male needs a crack about the thickness of a quarter. Attach well-fitting door sweeps. Fill holes where pipes disappear into walls with silicon sealant steel/bronze wool. Search for cracks along foundations baseboards pipes windows vents cabinets and doors and seal larger gaps and dust smaller cracks with Boric Acid. Install or repair window and door screens. Install fine mesh screens over vents ducts and floor drains. Keep sink plugs over drains in sinks showers etc. which are not used often.***Keep them away from food. A roach can find a snack just about anywhere. They eat crumbs pet food dead leaves and trash. Store food in tightly sealed containers or in the refrigerator and put pet food away overnight. Dont leave open bags of food or candy lying around. Clean up spills and crumbs right away especially from under appliances and wipe all counters and tables after use. Rinse food and drink containers before disposal empty trash and recycling frequently and use trashcans with tight-fitting lids. Clean your dirty dishes right away and keep t

Weber 586002 Q 320 Portable 393-Square-Inch 21700-BTU Liquid-Propane Gas Grill (Lawn & Patio) Been waiting for awhile to find a good deal on this but Amazons got the best price with shipping you are going to find. $0.01 doesnt get much better than that. What surprised the heck out of me was ordering early Thursday morning and finding at my doorstep Friday before noon. FedEx overnight somebody loves me. This was supposed to ship ground.Ive bought a Weber Q several years ago so I already know what the fuss is about. Cast iron grill great cook platform etc. Ive never used a cover so over the years Ive had to replace burners etc. as they corroded and degraded. Not Webers fault but Weber customer service is the greatest 24/7 etc. cheerfully helped identify what I needed and sent me the replacement parts.Ive been enviously looking at the 300 and when I saw the specs on the 320 I knew I was looking at my next Weber.I thought I knew what I was getting but I was pleasantly surprised at what I unboxed. This one is even cleverer than the original.Stationary Cart is a well thought out design. Stable with safety features Ive never seen implemented as well. The Tank storage system that locks the propane tank in place so it cant shift and also provides the cart with a counterweight to help prevent tips is a marvel by itself. The collapsible shelf system is elegant and functional while feeling more substantial than the Q200s fixed shelfs.The slightly larger cooking area is served by split cast iron grills instead of the single grill piece used by the Q200. This actually makes this grill easier to clean and service while taking nothing away from the cook area. A stainless steel warming rack is a nice place to put up food from the grill surface. Just sits there but is totally substantial and stable.A second burning tube stainless steel to prevent rusting out provides the additional heat and controls to bring the grill up to the temperatures I need to cook in colder weather. 40degrees last night and the grill still heated up to over 400 degrees in about 5 minutes.Thermostat is simple and will be easy to replace in the event of breakage or failure. This has an integral BBQ light that has a sensor that automatically turns it off when the lid is lowered. Very cool.I have never been satisfied with the old style igniter on the previous Q models. It is a lot of pool for the money!The exterior white pipes are a sturdy metal that interlock with each other and slip through a very strong vinyl casing around the top of the heavy vinyl blue pool itself. Since we already had a level spot from previous pools it took only an hour or so for my children to assemble it themselves with their 14 yr. old brother. As many people have stressed on other pool reviews YOU MUST MUST have a level site and this can take lots of work so dont expect to just open it and start assembling. Once the pool was filled with water I was surprised by how much more solid it seemed than our previous Easy set and simple set pools had been. Its like theres some kind of dynamic balance between the metal frame and the heavy vinyl pool wall and all the water. My son insists it is superior to our old pools. An important note is that this pool is truly 12 feet across the top unlike the easy and simple set ones that measure 12 feet on the bottom diameter but far less closer to 9+ feet across the top and this pool can be filled up to 90% of its sidewall height. Our old easy set pool was supposed to be filled only to 80% so when you compare this pool with those kind remember that this one has more usable swimming area and depth. This kind of pool can not be winterized and left up in climates where the winter temperatures drop below freezing so keep that in mind. We live in the northeast of the US so pools are useful at most from approximately Memorial Day to shortly after Labor Day and we think that inexpensive above ground pools are economical. Also we have found that the more expensive chemical testing kits like the ones at Walmart for $12.97 that test for for at least five things are a good investment even for small pools. If you dont add stabilizer (cyanuric acid) and keep your ph steady you will spend too much on chemicals overall. I wasted lots of chlorine over the years before I realized that. Small pools are economical but the chemical maintenance is more challenging than it might seem. I looked into Bacquacil (a non-chlorine sanitizing system that is not as tricky to test and manage as a chlorine system) and was told by one pool dealer that it might clog up cartridge filters in small pools but the website for Bacquacil says you can use it with th
